Dear paleonetters,

Apologies for any cross postings.

UPDATE

Early Palaeozoic biogeography and palaeogeography (http://snm.ku.dk/english/igcp503/)

IGCP 503: Final Meeting Copenhagen (late August - early September 2009)

Some 30 people have now registered for this conference and abstracts are beginning to arrive. We have decided to keep early bird registration open until midnight Friday 29th May which is also the deadline for abstract submission. Details regarding registration and abstract submission can be found at: http://snm.ku.dk/english/igcp503/images/palaeogeography_congress_first_circular.pdf/

The preconference field excursion is now fully booked but you are more than welcome to join a waiting list.

We have already three groups of keynote speakers. Robin Cocks and Trond Torsvik will review Early Palaeozoic palaeogeography while Ian Dalziel will discuss some alternatives. In addition Thomas Servais and his colleagues will discuss palaeobiogeographical and palaeogeographical nomenclature.

It is NOT too late to take advantage of early bird registration and NOT too late to submit an abstract for a talk or poster, or even both. We look forward to seeing as many of you as possible here in Wonderful Copenhagen.
